Massachusetts Child Health Quality Coalition

The Massachusetts Child Health Quality Coalition (CHQC) has been dedicated to improving health care for children in the state. It convened key stakeholders and facilitated their efforts in five priority areas:

  • Advocating for quality improvement in children’s health care
  • Improving care coordination for children
  • Facilitating effective communication and confidentiality
  • Developing pediatric quality measures
  • Promoting medical homes

Funded by a grant from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, CHQC was founded by five partner organizations, including MHQP, which saw the need for a statewide coordinating organization focused specifically on quality improvement in pediatric care.
