Barbra Rabson to Receive Primary Care Community Leadership Award from Primary Care Collaborative
(May 2025)
MHQP is pleased to announce that Barbra Rabson, MHQP’s president and CEO, will be honored with the Primary Care Community Leadership Award by the Primary Care Collaborative (PCC) at its Barbara Starfield Awards Dinner on June 4, 2025, in Washington, DC.
This award honors an individual or organization that has demonstrated remarkable leadership to ensure that primary care is foundational to community or state health care reform efforts. Such efforts are critical to developing and understanding what works to strengthen primary care and to inform broader national efforts to improve the nation’s health by making primary care more robust.
“MHQP has become a national leader in the measurement and public reporting of healthcare information, with a particular focus on measuring and improving patients’ experiences of care” under Barbra’s leadership,” says the PCC.
“I am deeply honored by this award,” says Ms. Rabson. “I share this recognition with my colleagues at MHQP and our partner organizations. I’m so proud of the work we have done together to monitor and highlight the instability of our primary care system, contributing to the formation of the Commonwealth’s new Primary Care Task Force. We have made great progress and still have tremendous work to do to restore the strong foundation of primary care in our healthcare system.”
