MHQP Selected for Strategic Consulting Project by CCT

(January 2021)

MHQP is pleased to announce that Community Consulting Teams of Boston (CCT) is partnering with MHQP on a new strategic project. Operating since 1990, CCT amplifies the impact of Boston-area nonprofits through pro bono management consulting projects performed by teams of experienced MBAs from top-tier business schools.

Identified and endorsed by MHQP’s Board of Directors, the project will study new strategic directions for the organization. This includes the potential opportunity to diversify MHQP’s revenue and stakeholder base by expanding measurement of the patient experience and helping to address health equity issues in new arenas, such as the clinical trials industry.

The engagement will include:

  • Comprehensive market landscape assessment
  • Deep understanding of the stakeholder environment through interview with key players
  • Synthesis and recommendations

“We are very excited about the opportunity to help MHQP assess and establish new strategic opportunities,” said Bill Sones, project manager for CCT. “Our team is very impressed with the MHQP organization and its unique history and position in Massachusetts healthcare. We look forward to working with them in this exciting engagement.”

“We are so grateful to have been selected by CCT for this project,” said MHQP CEO Barbra Rabson. “MHQP has an enormous opportunity to build on our deep experience of understanding and measuring the patient experience in new areas, and we look forward to CCT’s guidance as we explore and assess our options.”
